As the Porsche Panamera passes its ten year anniversary, with regular upgrades and new models, this fabulous car now covers an even wider spectrum. It combines perfectly the dramatic performance of a sports car with the comfort of an exclusive saloon and the choices are greater than ever.

The latest Panamera models, including the sports saloon, can also be ordered as Sport Turismo or Executive with a lengthened wheelbase depending on the drive system. Models are now equipped from the factory with the previously optional Sport Design front end with striking air intake grilles, large side cooling openings and a single-bar front light module. The completely new front end of the Panamera Turbo S is differentiated by the larger side air intakes and newly designed elements in the exterior colour. The short version is that there are models to suit all needs including the latest E-Hybrid variants. Three new 20” and 21” wheels have been added to the wheel range, so that a total of ten different designs are now available.

Porsche Panamera Interior

On The Inside

The interior speaks for itself as can be seen from our image and is very typically Porsche. In keeping with the available technology today, the Panamera offers an extensive range of innovative light and assistance systems, such as the now standard Lane Keeping Assist with road sign recognition, as well as Porsche adaptive cruise control, Night Vision Assist, Lane Change Assist, LED matrix headlights while also including Park Assist with Surround View and head-up display. Additional digital functions and services include an improved Voice Pilot online voice control, Risk Radar for up-to-date road sign and hazard information, wireless Apple CarPlay and many other connected services.

Under The Bonnet

Engine options vary: For example, the V8 biturbo engine in the Panamera GTS is optimised with a specific focus on its power delivery. With 473bhp, 620Nm of torque and emissions on the combines cycle of no more than 253g/km, the Panamera is cleaner and greener than ever. Fuel consumption, model dependent obviously, is up to fifty miles per gallon.

The power delivery is like that of a classic sports car with a naturally aspirated engine. The traditional V8 sound characteristics are even more prominent than before thanks to the new standard sports exhaust system featuring asymmetrically positioned rear silencers.

Porsche is presenting a further performance-oriented plug-in hybrid model with the new Panamera 4S E-Hybrid. The intelligent combination of the 134bhp electric motor and the 2.9L V6 biturbo engine with 434bhp, means real performance. Models are driven through an eight-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission.

The Drive

In order to transfer all this enormous power to the road in a controlled manner and maximise cornering performance, the three-chamber air suspension, Porsche Active Suspension Management and the roll stabilisation system Dynamic Chassis Control Sport combined with the now well-established Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus all combine to great effect. Set-ups have been customised to each specific model and optimised accordingly.

The performance and handling has been proven on the

legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife and this prestige car now holds the new official record in the “executive car” class. Contact us the find out more about the Porsche Panamera. Finally, a premium sports car that can take the whole family in style.
